01About these terms

This website is operated by Ace Consultant Inc ("Ace Consultant", "we", "us" or "our"). By using the website you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Any services we provide are governed by your written proposal, quote or service agreement together with these terms. If a written agreement says something different from these terms, the written agreement applies.

02Our services

We provide outsourced bookkeeping, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting and tax preparation, outsourced accounting in software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero and NetSuite, and OneSpace cloud hosting for accounting applications.

The scope, schedule, deliverables and fees for each engagement are agreed in writing before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

03Quotes and pricing

Outsourced accounting services are quoted after a free consultation, based on your transaction volume, software and deadlines. A quote is valid for the period stated on it.

OneSpace hosting prices shown on this website are starting prices per user per month in US dollars. The price that applies to you is the one in your quote or order confirmation.

We may change published prices at any time. Changes do not affect a quote or agreement you have already accepted, unless that agreement allows it.

04Your responsibilities

To let us deliver the services accurately and on time, you agree to:

  • provide complete, accurate and timely information, documents and access to your accounting software;
  • review the reports, returns and other work we deliver, and tell us promptly about anything that looks incorrect;
  • keep your login details, including OneSpace credentials and multi-factor authentication devices, secure and confidential;
  • use our services and hosting only for lawful purposes.

Our work relies on the information you provide. You remain responsible for your business decisions, for approving and filing returns where required, and for meeting your legal and tax obligations.

05Fees and payment

Fees, billing frequency and payment terms are set out in your proposal, quote or service agreement. If a payment is overdue, we may pause the services, including hosting access, until the account is brought up to date, after letting you know.

Requests for refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.

06Confidentiality and data

We treat the financial information you share with us as confidential and use it only to provide the agreed services. How we handle personal information submitted through this website is described in our Privacy Policy.

07Third-party software

QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, NetSuite, Zoho Books, SAP Business One, Buildium, FreshBooks, CCH and Thomson Reuters products and other product names belong to their respective owners. Ace Consultant Inc is not affiliated with or endorsed by them unless stated. Your use of third-party software is also subject to that software provider’s own licence terms.

08Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, graphics and the Ace Consultant Inc name and logo, belongs to Ace Consultant Inc or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own information, but you may not copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

Reports and other deliverables we prepare for you may be used by you for your business purposes once the related fees are paid.

09Use of this website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or submitting false, unlawful or harmful content through its forms.

We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove content at any time.

10Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ace Consultant Inc is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data, arising from the use of this website or our services. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for a claim relating to an engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim, unless your written agreement states otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

11Termination

Either party may end an engagement as set out in the proposal or service agreement. When an engagement ends, fees for work already performed remain payable, and we will discuss with you how your records and hosted data are returned.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, unless your written agreement specifies otherwise.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
